Sure, people complain about America all the time, and sure, we have our problems, but those problems come as a result of... freedom.

Many countries have adopted policies that make it difficult for someone to speak their mind, including people with certain religious beliefs (including some Christians who never suspected teaching Biblical doctrine would be considered a crime in their own country). In some countries you don't dare say certain things, even in sincere academic questioning lest you wind up with the authorities knocking on your door. But in America we even allow people who have radical ideologies to speak their minds because we do not seek to restrict speech based on the fact it might offend somebody.

Also, in America I have the right to defend my family personally rather than having to rely on the government to do it for me.

I could go on, but there are so many things that I take pride in with my country that I felt compelled to make this stamp. You may take pride in your own country, and that's perfectly fine, but as for me, I am a fiercely proud American.

Bashing Christianity is like watching an episode of South Park, its controversial but it gets boring after the first few seasons.

This is an ART SITE. Flash-bleached pictures of yourself making hand gestures that you took with a digital camera at arm's length are NOT art. MySpace is THAT way. -->

I agree, America is a great country, but I just don't prefer it over where I was born/grew up.
Honestly, the main quality I favour about America is that it was founded as a Christian nation, but sadly that quality is disappearing right before our eyes.

You don't have to believe this, but I love you, just the way you are. ♥

I believe Jesus Christ is my saviour.

The US indeed does not have all its ducks in a row, however... I think it is good to point out that there's a lot of people trying to get in there instead of leave. :XD: Nice looking stamp :D
